A little story to introduce myself. This spring on the first hot day of summer, my girlfriend and I went to the beach. As we were walking on the path through the dunes, the sand was really hot. I had difficulty walking, not only due to the heat on the soles of my feet, but I was watching my girlfriend hopping, skipping and doing her best to save her soles from the hot sand. Bare feet on hot sand or pavement is my favorite scene to watch.
